Staff recommended adding roughly $160,000 to the CIP for the larger site improvements and moving smaller line items (a $130,000 transfer from walking-trail funding and a $30,000 park-and-recreation reduction) to cover the change.
Supervisor Speaker 12 moved the resolution authorizing the contract and amending the FY2025 budget to reallocate the identified funds; the motion passed by unanimous roll-call vote. Staff said construction would likely start in late spring or early summer, contingent on permitting and seasonal scheduling.
