Commissioners asked whether additional bills were still possible; staff said construction billing from Maxwell appeared complete while engineering invoices could still arrive. Commissioners authorized additional funding and agreed building & grounds would attempt to cover the balance; if funds proved insufficient, the commission authorized using ARPA funds to finish payments. The motion authorizing the additional expenditures and the ARPA backstop passed unanimously.
Next steps: Building & Grounds and Finance will reconcile the final invoices, process payments to Maxwell Construction, and report back to the commission if further funding adjustments are needed.
