A summary of formal actions the Wallsburg Town Council recorded on Dec. 5, 2024:
- Consent calendar approved: Motion to approve the meeting agenda and the minutes of Nov. 7, 2024 carried by voice vote during the consent portion of the meeting. (Motion moved and seconded; chair called for ayes.)
- Budget and register: Councilors reviewed budget items and the check register and approved them during the meeting with a voice vote; staff will continue budget monitoring after the audit finding was reported.
- Conflict-of-interest policy adopted by resolution: The council moved and seconded a resolution adopting a town conflict-of-interest policy that applies to elected officials, appointed officials and employees.
