Duchesne County commissioners approve approach permits, vouchers and surplus items

During its Sept. 30 meeting Duchesne County commissioners handled routine administrative items before the afternoon work session. The commission reviewed and approved four residential/commercial approach permits (including submittals for Justin Preston, Stacy Davis and Ryan Clark) and authorized the chair to sign them on behalf of the county.
Becky Bridal from the court presented vouchers the board had received earlier in the week; following a short review commissioners moved, seconded and unanimously approved the vouchers for Sept. 30, 2024. Commissioners also declared a list of items from the emergency management department surplus and approved the disposition as presented.
Procedural motions during the meeting included the board’s agreement to recess until 2:00 p.m., a motion to enter and exit a closed session on personnel/health matters with no action taken, and a later motion to schedule a follow‑up work session on Oct. 7 at approximately 2:30 p.m. for continued discussion on transportation fees.
