Emery County CRA approves 2024 budget despite delayed Castle Solar payment

She said distributions shown in the spreadsheet are estimates based on anticipated receipts and that the CRA can only pay out what the treasurer remits.
Board members pressed staff on what to do if a developer has unpaid taxes; Yergan and others explained the county will only disburse funds actually collected and noted the CRA has a 60-day window to remit funds to the developer once they are in the treasurer’s hands.
