At its Nov. 19 meeting the Duchesne County Library Board took several routine actions by voice vote and then moved into a closed session for a personnel evaluation.
The board approved the Oct. 15 minutes after a motion from Jenny Adams and a second from Amy Snow. Later, the board approved the proposed 2025 meeting schedule (motion by Amy Snow; second by Irene Hanson) and approved the holiday closure schedule (motion by Irene Hanson; second by Jenny Adams). Each approval was completed by voice vote; members responded "Aye." The meeting transcript does not record a numerical roll-call tally for these votes.
At the end of the open session the board moved to a closed session for the annual evaluation of the library director. Deb Evans made the motion to go into closed session; the motion was seconded by Katherine. The board voted to enter closed session at 05:02.
No policy changes or certifications were adopted in open session; the closed session was for personnel and was not open to the public.
