Daggett County Commission approves routine financial items, appoints interim rodeo board member, and schedules closed session

At its Oct. 29 meeting, the Daggett County Commission handled routine fiscal business and a personnel appointment and moved to a closed session for property matters.
Financial approvals included acceptance of the cash summary and accounts receivable report (as of Oct. 25), approval of the open invoice register dated Oct. 28 for $73,305.07, approval of a reimbursement register for the period Oct. 18–Oct. 28 (amount discussed in the meeting) and approval of the disbursement listing for Oct. 18–Oct. 28 in the amount of $269,432.21. Each motion was made, seconded and passed by voice vote during the meeting’s consent/financial section.
The commission also voted to appoint Jesse Platt as an interim member of the Rodeo Grounds advisory board to temporarily fill the vacancy created by Troy King’s leave of absence; that motion passed by voice vote.
Near the end of the meeting, commissioners moved and seconded a motion to convene a closed session for the purpose of discussing the purchase/exchange of real property. Remote participant Bart Jensen was excused from the closed session.
No ordinances, resolutions, or multi‑item legislative packages were adopted at the meeting; the actions above reflect routine administrative, financial and appointment matters.
