Clinic project moves toward geotechnical testing; pharmacy space tweaked

County staff and project consultant Jones & DeMille told the commission on Oct. 8 that the clinic project is advancing toward site testing and next design phases.
Speaker 2 reported removal of a Quonset door and that a locate had been completed for a forthcoming geotechnical drill rig. Bart Jensen of Jones & DeMille confirmed a geotech rig was expected on or around Oct. 11 to drill holes and produce soil logs. Jensen said he had met with Roger Merritt from UBH to discuss pharmacy-space needs; Northeast Counseling and Tri County Health have signed off on the schematic design, and Merritt requested a few minor layout changes before final sign-off by the chair.
Commissioners were told that, after the schematic is fully signed, the team will proceed to mechanical and structural design. No formal approvals or contracts were recorded at the Oct. 8 meeting; commissioners asked staff to continue coordination and to confirm the drilling schedule and final schematic sign-offs.
