Sunrise to open bids Oct. 29 for planned water treatment plant; plans to be released Wednesday

Speaker 3 noted the public notice was in the packet; Speaker 5 (Brian) outlined the procurement schedule: plans and documents will be available to contractors on Wednesday, bids will be due Oct. 28, and bid openings will occur Oct. 29 at the Sunrise office or through Sunrise's plan room. "We'll have plans and documents ready for contractors on Wednesday, and then we have bids that will be due October 28, and those will be opened on the 29th," Speaker 5 said.
Speaker 5 said the county will receive bids at the Sunrise office or via the Sunrise plan room and that the openings would be handled during commission or MBA meetings on the 29th. Commissioners acknowledged the item and said staff would follow up as bids are submitted and opened.
