Superintendent highlights musicals, Minithon fundraising and athletic achievements

He congratulated students who performed in the Neshaminy district honors and junior honors orchestra and band concerts at Maple Point, thanking families for supporting the young musicians.
Bowman reported that Neshaminy Minithon participants raised $46,842 to support the Four Diamonds Foundation on Feb. 9, noting in‑school fundraisers and a pie‑in‑the‑face event that helped reach the total. He also recognized athletic accomplishments: the girls basketball team won the Suburban One League championship 35–22 against Upper Dublin, junior bowler Zach Pfeiffer rolled two perfect 300 games in a match, and senior Nate Townsend joined the 1,000‑point club as the sixth Neshaminy player to reach that milestone.
Finally, Mr. Bowman previewed Gym Night 2024 — 10 days away at the time of the meeting — with the theme “Are We There Yet?” and encouraged community attendance. The superintendent’s report was delivered during the meeting with no formal board action attached.
