Superintendent spotlights student art exhibit and state science awards ahead of graduation

Superintendent Mr. Bowman opened his report by thanking art teachers and congratulating students after the district’s art show drew a large turnout in Gym 1 at the high school.
"The room was packed with some of the best artworks from our talented students in every grade," Bowman said, listing media from paintings and pottery to digital art and animation. He praised the district’s arts teachers for encouraging creativity at all grade levels.
Bowman also congratulated five Neshaminy High School students who won awards at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science state competition at Penn State University. He named the students and their placements: Musalima Rocamova (first place), Vic Chen (first place), Archer Wiliter (first place), Barb Arrow Shively (second place) and Laura Veil La Eris (second place). He extended congratulations to the broader Class of 2024 for awards and scholarships recognized during the senior awards ceremony.
Bowman reminded the board that commencement is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m., and he thanked the community and staff for their support in student success.
