The Neshaminy School Board approved a bundled consent motion covering a range of personnel items and then approved first readings for several board policies.
Board member Missus Hollenbach moved a master motion to approve personnel items (agenda 2.01–2.09), including certificated retirements and support resignations. In that motion she named Cynthia Jones, who has 22 years of service, and Thomas McGoldrick, who has 19 years of service, and thanked them for their years with the district. Missus Lafferty seconded the motion and the board approved the personnel package by a 9–0 vote.
Later, Missus Lafferty moved first readings of board policies recommended by the policy committee (including Section 707.1 on use of school facilities) and requested that the policies be returned for a second reading and final adoption at the Sept. 24 public board meeting. The motion was seconded and passed 9–0.
The chair also listed several routine business items to be placed on a future public agenda, including student settlement agreements, PSBA state elections, a dual‑enrollment MOU with Bucks County Community College, the revised 2024–25 calendar and a district‑wide facility study.
