The resolutions accepted by the board were Res. 24‑001R (police vehicles — $169,405), Res. 24‑02R (public works vehicles — $382,564), Res. 24‑03R (police license‑plate readers — $15,900), and Res. 24‑04R (Parkland Fire Company thermal imaging cameras — $15,600). The board discussed that the police‑vehicle grant is smaller than the $325,000 figure previously mentioned to cover four vehicles; staff said if there is any overage it would come from the capital fund, and the command vehicle request would be deferred at this time.
A motion to accept the grant resolutions was made, seconded and passed by a 5‑0 vote. Township staff said specific procurement and any capital‑fund decisions would be brought to the board at a future meeting when vehicle options and pricing are available.
