Middletown supervisors approve consent items, cable franchise advertisements and several contracts during Sept. 9 meeting

The board authorized advertisement of ordinances to adopt the franchise agreements at a later meeting (motion carried 5–0).
Barnett Community Park Deck: The parks director recommended awarding the deck replacement contract to Dilemo/Delamo Construction as the lowest bidder meeting the Responsible Contractor Ordinance; the board approved the award (vote reported 4–1).
Rock Salt Consortium: The board approved awarding the Bucks County consortium rock‑salt bid to Morton Salt, Inc. at $60.95 per ton for the 2024–25 season (motion carried 5–0).
RDA Grant Applications: The board approved six RDA grant application resolutions to request funding for public‑works and emergency‑service equipment (including police and public-works vehicles and improvements to the township-owned North Station) and prioritized township applications as top priorities for submission.
