Campbell County fiscal court honors local high school students

At the start of the July 3 meeting the Campbell County Fiscal Court recognized a large group of high school students from across the county for academic achievement and athletic honors.
Officials read names and accomplishments from multiple schools — including state champions, valedictorians and national merit commendations — and asked the students to arrange for a group photograph. The judge and commissioners thanked Justin Otto and other staff for coordinating the visit and asked that applause be held until the end of the recognitions.
The recognition was ceremonial and no formal action or resolution accompanied the presentation.
