"We were wondering if we could get one year and now we found out that we could," the business manager said during the finance report.
The board approved the recommended monthly bills and personnel salaries. Separately, the Buildings & Grounds committee asked for retroactive approval of an invoice to Shaffer Service, Inc. for annual inspection and repairs to a district maintenance truck; the board approved payment of $4,870.18. The buildings representative said the repair avoided the need to purchase a new vehicle and represented cost savings.
