Staff recommended Anderson Excavating after receiving five bids; the county accepted the recommendation and approved the contract by voice vote.
Commissioners also approved a project fund requisition to pay costs associated with projects financed from series 2019/2021 bonds for Charles Point Economic Opportunity Development District and related projects. Staff presented requisition A and B for approval and the motions carried by voice vote.
Separately, the commission authorized pursuing the purchase of the Route 19 property and allowed the county administrator to negotiate on the commission's behalf; that motion carried without recorded opposition.
No contract execution dates or payment schedules were announced at the meeting. Staff indicated Thrasher recommended the low bid for the parking lots and that no additional repairs were needed for the newly purchased lots.
