Residents press school board to post superintendent goals and compensation
Summary
A resident questioned why the superintendent’s compensation and performance goals are not posted on the district website; the solicitor said the district posts whether a superintendent met performance goals and that the contract is a public record available via Right-to-Know requests.

During the public comment period Christina Bridal (Ridge Road, Harmony Township) asked the board to publish the superintendent’s compensation, goals and performance standards on the district website, saying repeated community requests for that information have not been satisfied.
Bridal said: "Doctor Pasquarello's salary is not posted. There are no goals. There are no performance standards." She urged the board to make the details available to residents, noting other posted job, contract and salary information for district hires.
The district solicitor responded that the information required by law—"whether or not a superintendent has met his or her performance goals"—has been posted for the 2023–24 school year and for prior years, and that the superintendent’s contract is a public record that can be requested under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law. The solicitor said the performance goals are collaborative between the superintendent and the board and that contract renewals followed Sunshine Law notice procedures.
A board member confirmed a Right-to-Know request would be accepted and that administrators would provide the requested records. The board did not take a separate policy vote on posting additional materials during the meeting.
