The committee approved the recommendation by voice vote and directed staff to place the item on the next meeting agenda as both a discussion item and a business item for the full board.
Committee members reiterated naming policy constraints: facilities may not be named after individuals (living or deceased) nor duplicate existing facility names. Birch said staff will bring the item to the full board with the committee’s recommendation.
