Conservation director reports Nature Center upgrades, campground season summary

The Conservation Director described a proposed upgrade to one section of the Nature Center to add interactive, electronic exhibits to replace older mounted displays. Estimated cost for the display updates is about $38,000; the conservation board has committed some funds and the director indicated efforts to leverage other partners and potential county betterment funding during the budget cycle.
The conservation annual report was presented for the board's review; the director said the conservation board will have a month to make corrections and approve the report before supervisors formally receive the file.
