Benton County facilities update: crisis center slab, courthouse permits and EOC design progress

He said the crisis center slab has been poured and walls will go up soon; county staff are finalizing NEPA work to access HRSA funding. On the courthouse project, Stockoff said the county has revised an MOU with the State Historic Preservation Office and is awaiting final Corps of Engineers sign‑off and city permits before construction can begin; he said bids are coming in and project costs have stabilized. Design development for the county’s Emergency Operations Center is underway, with construction expected to begin next year.
Stockoff also updated the board on the Monroe Clinic expansion planning and preliminary cost estimates and said the county would pursue the BP settlement reimbursement and continue NEPA and design steps before submitting grant materials.
