Board reviews concurrent enrollment data, approves partnership with EICC

Following the presentation, the board moved and approved a partnership to continue language development and specified concurrent enrollment programs with Eastern Ivy Community College; the motion was called and passed by voice vote.
Board members asked for clarification on credit and how English development/ESL students receive support; Ruskirk said the district provides noncredit support that integrates with schedules to make the help meaningful for students.
The board accepted the materials and the motion to continue the partnership with EICC as presented.
