Board members noted the auditorium is a smaller backup and that outdoor events depend on weather; the motion to authorize up to $5,000 carried by voice vote. Staff indicated new TVs and network drops are expected to restore or replace older equipment and that additional costs would require further board approval.
Later in the meeting the board made a motion to enter executive session pursuant to KRS 156.557 for a preliminary discussion of the superintendent evaluation. The executive session was held, no action was taken when the board returned, and the meeting adjourned at about 8:06–8:07 p.m.
