After roll call the board moved to nominations for chairperson for 2024-25. With no competing candidates, the assembly closed nominations and elected Nicole Radonski by voice vote. Reese Martin was nominated and elected vice chair by a similar voice vote. Following the elections the chair presided over the remainder of the meeting.
The session included routine organizational business such as approval of the meeting calendar and appointments to liaison and advisory committees. Members expressed appreciation for families and staff in attendance during the swearing-in and for community volunteers who support district programs.
The board announced its next regular meeting date at the close of the session.
