Shawnee County employees raise $15,780 in recent workplace campaigns; $5,939 presented to United Way

Monholland later provided consolidated figures for recent county workplace campaigns: Helping Hands Humane Society $6,706; Project Topeka $3,134.70; United Way $5,939; grand total $15,779.70.
Commissioners thanked organizers and presenters and paused for a brief photo opportunity following the presentation. The county did not take any formal action on funding during the session.
