Planning commission approves minutes, adopts 2025 meeting schedule
Summary
The Reno County Planning Commission approved its Nov. 21 minutes and adopted Resolution 2024-01 setting the 2025 meeting dates by voice vote; the board then moved into a lengthy review of draft Article 26 (commercial solar regulations).
At its Dec. 19 meeting the Reno County Planning Commission approved minutes from the Nov. 21 meeting and adopted Planning Commission Resolution 2024-01, which sets the dates, times and locations for the commission’s 2025 meetings.
Commissioner (Speaker 3) moved to approve the Nov. 21 minutes and the motion carried by voice vote. Commissioner (Speaker 5) moved to adopt the proposed 2025 meeting schedule and Commissioner (Speaker 2) seconded; the resolution was approved by voice vote.
After those procedural votes the body proceeded to an extended discussion of Case 2023-10 (proposed Article 26), which will return to the commission after staff redrafts the regulations and the planning commission resolution.
