County appraiser reports 2024 midyear ratio: residential 97.4%, commercial 74%

Rook emphasized the small number of commercial sales makes the ratio less stable and said the county will continue analysis through the tax year cycle.
Commissioners asked about trends and how the county treats outliers; Rook explained the state uses technical criteria to trim outliers and the county maintains internal validity procedures for valuation work.
