The Franklin County Board of Education approved construction-related items including a change order and multiple contractor payouts during its meeting.

Change order No. 1 for BG 25083 (Western Hills Tennis Courts) for storm pipe, a headwall and riprap on the north side was presented in the amount of $11,596.65 and approved. The board also approved payout No. 3 for the Western Hills Tennis Courts to Oak Hill Site Solutions for $141,002.58; district staff said some retainage will be held until sidewalk work is completed.

Separately, payout No. 6 for BG24091 (greenhouse project) to Concrete Construction for $9,710 and payout No. 7 for BG23431 (auxiliary gyms) to Devereux Construction for $749,009.36 were approved. A geotechnical invoice to CSI for $27,600 related to BG24331 (EES construction) was also approved. Board members asked for clarification on work in progress, and staff answered questions about site conditions, plumbing discoveries and schedule implications.
