Ellis County OKs $605,000 bid to sell Public Works building to Midwest Pipe Works

County staff noted the closing is planned to occur after Jan. 1.
Commissioners did not record additional public comment during the hearing. County staff said the transaction will proceed through usual title and closing steps before returning to the commission for final approval.
The decision follows the commission's opening of a public hearing to solicit input on the proposed sale; no formal objections were recorded during the hearing.
