"We were successful in getting another grant," a staff member said, identifying the award in the meeting packet as $7,500 for the Kinsman/Scout Cabin community building. Staff said the finance director and the city manager were out of town but had offered to attend a future meeting to answer any project questions.
Commissioners acknowledged the announcement and continued with other agenda business. The grant was reported as a routine staff update and no formal action or appropriation was recorded during the work session.
