Board members were briefed on proposed minor boundary adjustments for Blue Valley Southwest feeder-area schools that the Facility Planning Committee discussed at its Nov. 13 meeting.
Jake Slobodnick and Eric Paulham presented boundary scenarios and noted the committee unanimously agreed to assign Morse and Timber Creek elementary schools to Aubrey Bend Middle School and to assign Aspen Grove Elementary School to Wolf Springs Middle School. The transcript states Wolf Springs Middle School is set to open in August 2026.
District staff announced a community open house on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. at Aubrey Bend Middle School to review the proposed boundaries with residents. The Board of Education is scheduled to consider the proposed boundaries at its Jan. 13 Board meeting.
The board clarified that the elementary-boundary changes discussed affect undeveloped land and will not impact current students in the affected schools.
No formal board vote on the proposed boundary adjustments was recorded in this meeting; the matter is scheduled for board consideration on Jan. 13.
