Commission endorses code changes to land-use notices, adds Camp Williams review requirement

The Bluffdale Planning Commission on Aug. 21 voted unanimously to forward proposed code amendments to the City Council that implement state changes to public-notice procedures and revise hearing requirements for conditional use permits. City planner Caitlin Tubbs told the commission the amendments respond to Senate Bill 43 and House Bill 256, which create two classes of notice and require notice to military installations when a land-use application falls within 5,000 feet of a military boundary.
