Chowchilla council approves contract for Well 16 improvements amid ARPA deadline pressure

Chowchilla — The City Council voted Dec. 20 to award a contract for improvements to Well 16 to Alliance Construction Solutions Incorporated, approving a proposal that staff said is intended to complete the work needed to bring the well into service.

City staff presented the award and described the project scope as including concrete pads, water main piping, chlorination equipment, flush stations, drain lines, inlets and outlets, fencing, electrical improvements and grading. "As stated, this is to award the Well 16 improvements project to Alliance Construction Solutions," a staff presenter identified in the meeting as "Mister Rogers" told the council during the staff presentation.
