City Manager Nate said the state is providing $500,000 toward Miscan’s announced $156,000,000 investment in a local processing facility and the creation of 44 jobs. He emphasized that the city is acting only as a conduit for state funds and has no financial obligations related to the grant beyond facilitation.
The municipal order passed on a voice vote.
