ND PSC sets hearings for Grayson Mill pipeline, Coyote Creek mining permit and Otter Tail rate case

At the close of its Dec. 4 special meeting the North Dakota Public Service Commission announced dates and locations for upcoming formal hearings.
Grayson Mill / Missouri River crossing pipeline (case PUD-24-311): The commission scheduled a formal hearing for Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 9:00 a.m. in Watford City at the Little Missouri Inn and Suites, 109 Ninth Avenue SE. A presiding judge and staff will take testimony and compile the record for commissioner review; commissioners may not attend in person but will review the record.
Coyote Creek Mining Company permit matters (cases PUD-24-244 and RC-24-245): Speaker 1 announced a formal hearing for Feb. 13 to consider Revision 13 and Renewal No. 2 to permit number NACCDash1302; these are separate dockets for revision and renewal and will be handled by a judge, with Speaker 1 likely to participate as portfolio holder.
Otter Tail Power Company 2023 electric rate increase (case PUD-23-342): The commission set aside the following week for a formal hearing beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day; Speaker 1 said the hearing could last the entire week or be shortened if a settlement is reached, with an exception on Wednesday morning when the commission will pause the formal hearing to hold a regular meeting.
The commission recessed for press questions after the announcements.
