"We got a 0% error," the presenter said, calling it an achievement that helps maximize reimbursements and limits money the county would have to pay back.
Two EMS employees—Kimberly Hagen and Michael Mattingly—were acknowledged for five years of service, and staff emphasized the role of providers and supervisors in building the billing process. A member of the public offered a testimonial about recent EMS care for family members to underscore the department’s community role.
The court approved a cash transfer of $210,000 from the general fund to EMS during the same meeting; staff indicated the transfer supports ongoing operations.
The court did not take any additional policy action related to EMS during the meeting; follow-up items include routine budget posting and continued oversight of billing performance.
