County staff presented $3,132.48 in budget transfers and a bills packet totaling $1,223,499.19. After motions and seconding remarks from members on the floor, the court passed the transfers and approved payment of the bills by voice vote.
Commissioners briefly discussed a particular invoice for Coates Complete Floor Care, explaining the duct and ventilation cleaning exceeded its initial quote by roughly $3,700. The judge said the county would pay the invoice so courthouse cleaning work could be completed and the court approved that payment as part of the bills vote.
The court did not amend the amounts during the meeting; staff noted records and supporting documents are on file with the county clerk. The next scheduled fiscal court meeting will be presided over by Judge Pro Tem Ellis in mid/late October.
