Littlestown Area SD board approves multiple personnel motions, accepts retirements and hires

Separately, the board moved and approved staff resignations and later approved staff hires. During discussion, a board member clarified that the hires are for positions already on the district’s payroll and therefore do not add new ongoing costs to the district budget.
The votes were handled on the floor during the personnel portion of the agenda, with seconds recorded on the record (including a second from Daniel Brown for an earlier motion and a second from Steve Dever on personnel approvals). The board completed personnel business and closed that portion of the agenda.
