Speaker 2, an administrator, described planned technology work tied to the high-school construction: contractor-provided equipment will be installed by contractors, network cabling will connect to the patch panel, and the district will supply patch cables to switches. “A lot of equipment is owner provided, contractor installed, as well as network cabling to the patch panel that we then have to supply and and install, patch cables to the switches and everything,” Speaker 2 said.

Speaker 2 said the tech team will work this week with vendor Softchoice and run a security-center investigation in the Google Admin console to review activity logs and analyze potential security threats. “So it's a good tool for us to from the safety perspective,” Speaker 2 said, noting that administrators and the safety officer are coordinating on both physical and cyber aspects of safety.

No contracts, costs, or vendor agreements were announced during the discussion; Speaker 2 described operational coordination and upcoming professional development for tech staff.
