When asked whether the grant had final approval, staff responded that the grant had been signed but if the grant is not ultimately awarded the intern would not receive pay: "If it doesn't get approved, she'll receive no money," an administrator said.
Board members also questioned the internship workload expectations, asking whether 25 assessments per year was sufficient for a training placement. Administrators said the 25‑assessment minimum is a requirement of the intern’s university program.
