Commissioners approve amendments to Crook County courthouse funding agreements, set Nov. 27 final phase date

According to the presenter, the master funding-agreement amendment clarifies that certain property funds may be designated for architectural development without the same restrictions attached to other funding streams. The phase-funding amendment creates a second tier of matching that applies to land acquisition costs, system development charges (SDCs) and initial planning costs; previously there was a single 165% match based on building share. The presenter said those changes are beneficial to the county and noted a phase completion date in the packet was updated to reflect a true final completion of Nov. 27 (the building itself would be complete earlier).
A motion to approve the first amendments to the master funding agreement and the phase 1 funding agreement was made, seconded and approved unanimously. Commissioners thanked staff (noting Brian by first name) for their work on the project and announced the Justice Center ribbon-cutting is scheduled for Sept. 27.
