County adopts $819 million FY2024–25 budget and holds final millage vote

The board then adopted the final budget for FY 2024–25 in the amount of $819,013,037, inclusive of a Lake Asbury MSBD budget of $1,112,660. A second resolution to adopt the budget passed by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
Officials said revenues reflect current estimates and carry‑forwards and that separate resolutions adopt the millage and the budget as required by statute.
What happens next: The county will proceed under the adopted millage rate and implement the FY24–25 operating plan. Staff will publish final budget documents and proceed with department allocations and capital planning under the approved budget.
