The board reported that “on motion of member Anne Horak Martin, seconded by member Carlos Melendez, the board in closed session voted 5 to nothing to approve a confidential settlement agreement in the matter of Martinez Unified School District v. Student OAH case number 2020Four-eight-one70,” resolving a dispute that included educationally related costs and attorney’s fees in exchange for waivers and releases, the board reported when it returned to open session.
