Martinez parent urges board to keep special-education student in current placement

She said the move risks "irreparable harm" given recent health issues and that three doctors, including Cora's Stanford pediatric neurologist, are preparing letters to support keeping her in her current program.
Slocum asked the board to prioritize Cora's needs and stability rather than district planning forecasts. The board did not take action during the public-comment period; the item was recorded as public comment and no formal response or decision was recorded in the open meeting minutes.
