The Martinez Unified Board of Education returned from closed session on Aug. 12 and approved three separate student readmission motions, the board announced during its public meeting. The board also amended and approved the consent calendar to add a therapy contract and accepted a $100 donation.
According to the meeting report outs, the board considered the readmission of student number 2020 and approved the motion by roll call; all recorded board members voted "Aye." The board then moved and approved the readmission of student number 2021-22-04 and a separate readmission noted again for student number 2020; each motion passed by unanimous roll-call vote.
Separately, the board added a contract with Foundation Therapy Services to the consent calendar for 0.5 full-time-equivalent occupational-therapy support at a cost of $78,000 and approved the consent calendar as amended by voice vote. The board also voted to accept a $100 donation from Linda Skinner to Lehi Fentes Elementary.
