County honors long‑service employees and receives employer support award; Neshaminy Manor named a top U.S. nursing home

Bucks County recognized employees celebrating 20 years of service and accepted an employer award for supporting members of the National Guard and Reserve.
The chair announced 20‑year honorees including Beau David Burris (Department of Corrections), Sean Ryan (Health Services, Neshaminy Manor), Gregory Williams Jr. (Department of Corrections) and present honoree Monica Russo (adult probation). Commissioners and attendees congratulated the employees.
Matt Allen, the county’s director of Veterans Affairs, was on hand as the county accepted the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Seven Seals Award. Paul Vazetti, a retired U.S. Air Force colonel representing the state committee, presented the award and said Bucks County is one of about 30 employers statewide recognized for leadership supporting guard and reserve service members.
Separately, Chief Operating Officer Margie McKebben invited Dave Damsker to report that Neshaminy Manor was named by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top nursing homes in the United States for 2025; officials congratulated staff and residents and noted the designation was based on patient care, safety and quality metrics.
No formal actions were required for the recognitions; commissioners used the moments to thank staff and note departmental accomplishments.
