On consequences, Jones said hazing is placed in the student code of conduct as level 4–5—ranging from multi‑day suspension to possible expulsion depending on severity—and that aggravated hazing meeting criminal definitions would be referred to law enforcement. The committee praised the policy work and asked staff to align the code of conduct definitions and return with a revised draft.
