In public comment, Rick Bochanski expressed opposition to district curriculum and counseling practices, saying they "lead students towards actually, like acceptance of abortion, abortion is murder," and raising concerns about counseling guidance related to gender identity. The board did not respond during public comment but thanked him for speaking.
Board members emphasized that contracts and training are intended to support student services and staff capacity while the district continues hiring and planning.
