Jim Callahan elected vice chair of Woburn Planning Board after Van Trasko resignation

Chair Bob Doherty told the Planning Board that Mike Van Trasko had resigned after many years of service on the board. "Mike has resigned after many, many years of good work done on this Board," the chair said.
The chair opened nominations for vice chair. Claudia nominated Jim Callahan and the board secured a second; members voted 6-0 to elect Callahan vice chair. Chair Doherty congratulated Callahan and noted the change would allow the new vice chair to take some time off from his prior duties.
The election took place by voice vote at the June 11 meeting; no formal ballot or roll-call tally beyond the recorded unanimous voice vote was recorded in the minutes.
