Woburn council recognizes two Eagle Scouts for community projects

WOBURN — The Woburn City Council on June 18 adopted resolves recognizing two local youths for achieving Eagle Scout and for community-service projects.
The council honored John Juliason of Woburn, who built two Little Free Pantries — one at the United Methodist Church on Main Street and another at the Woburn Boys and Girls Club — so residents can take or donate food any time. Juliason told the council he picked the locations because they are visible and well-trafficked and described the pantries as a "give and take" resource.
The council also recognized Daniel Mostrom, who designed and built a mobile parent resource kiosk with slat paneling at Grace Chapel in Lexington; Mostrom said the kiosk can be moved between floors using an elevator and will hold brochures, book recommendations and materials to assist families.
Both resolves were adopted and the council invited the awardees and councilors to take photographs following the presentations.
